Chromium carbide used in chromium carbide electrode (such as D626, D402 and other chromium carbide electrode), niobium carbide – chromium carbide composite high wear-resistant surfacing electrode is the field of wear-resistant surfacing materials. Chromium carbide is used in high hardness chrome carbide wear-resistant composite steel sheet (such as SA1750CR wear-resistant composite plate), surfacing composite steel plate, anti-wear thin film and semiconductor film. Chromium carbide used in ultra-fine grain cemented carbide, with high hardness and wear resistance, but also has a high strength and toughness. Chromium carbide is used as a new type of cermet powder in NiCr-Cr3C2. It is an ideal thermal spraying material with high temperature resistance and wear resistance. Mainly used for plasma or explosive spraying, supersonic flame spraying, used in metallurgy, powder, petrochemical and other industries of high temperature corrosion-resistant workpiece protection.
